Today my heart is sore and I yearn for a place to rest. The news all around is gloomy – many passing in the cold of winter, many stricken with cancer, many deprived and hungry and cold. I happen to find these pictures as I play a little with my phone – they are of Wast Water – strikingly beautiful place where we’ve been recently and where Shirley rests. On her way to the most beautiful place of all our
only child asked to have her ashes scattered here on Middlefell. Cancer took her here and beyond into perfect bliss. And I know I’m on my way to that bliss too, thanks to the Jesus we share. And now I feel a lot better.
