Brian and I visited Balmoral Castle in 2007.
It struck us as a very beautiful, very royal place but also winsome: there is a sign up which reads, ‘Beware of squirrels crossing’! When I think of the Kingdom to which we belong – where we are always ‘in residence’ – it’s grandeur stretches me to the point where I can’t find words. And when I see what is winsome there – such tender love – then I am undone!
