Closed for repairs? I wish. Trouble to the left, disaster to the right, destruction below – perhaps sending this world in for repairs is a very good idea. That is – until we remember that “He’s got the whole world in His hands.” When we remember that, hope and reassurance and rejoicing well up and we’re in a good space again. So, rather that close it for repairs let’s see what God is doing. That brings in a whole new perspective! And the day will come
when, as in the Garden of Eden, He can stand back and look over His handiwork once again and decide – as He did in Eden – that all that He has restored (this time round) is very good. (Gen 1:31)
