Carousels always bring out the child in me. I love them every time I see them in the UK. I think they bring a message – I think they say, “Since you became Father God’s child He has steadily steered you on an unerring path according to the plans He has for you. Oh, there are twists and turns as you sometimes wriggle this way and that but there is always the wonder and enchantment of being safely carried along. You can’t be lost you know.” I also see the empty horses – of those who have already completed the journey into bliss or are waiting for the new ones to mount. But, once we are His there’s just no chance of mishap, no chance at all!
