Just had a deliciously strong cup of coffee, warm apple crumble and icecream and lost myself in a glowing fire. What I’m digesting is the power of the warmth – especially as we are experiencing a bitterly cold winter here in Cape Town. If there is no fire there’s no warmth is there? I page until I find Ephesians 3 which tells us about inner fire: that we may have power, and in verse 19, that we may be “filled to the measure of the fullness of God”. Oh Lord may we bring a heavenly glow wherever we are. May we light such a fire. Amen.
