Trafalgar Square 2013. We spend a day in London. The street lights enchant us. We look up and up and up the Christmas Tree donated by Norway and erected in the square. We also stare at this notice: “Beware anti-climb paint applied”. It too stands in Trafalgar Square but why? People climb up the poles? Really? And they mustn’t? Whatever. It made me think of the cross – there is no “anti-climb” – or anti-cling for that matter. The very opposite! We are to climb – and cling – for all we’re worth. That way comfort and victory lies. Way to go!

What a charming ornament to put on your window sill - to love again, every time you walk past and open you front door....
