There are 2868 diamonds, 17 sapphires, 11 emeralds, 269 pearls and 4 rubies on this crown. But I think of another crown – let’s read the words that describe it in this hymn:
When He cometh, when He cometh
To make up His jewels
All His jewels, precious jewels
His loved and His own
He will gather, He will gather
The gems for His kingdom
All the pure ones, all the bright ones
His loved and His own
Like the stars of the morning
His bright crown adorning
They will shine in their beauty
Bright gems for His crown
There are a thousand times a thousand and more gems in this, His crown, each one bought with the Savior’s blood and each one more glorious than any one of the gems in Elizabeth’s crown. And to think that I am actually there among them, polished and kept, often in spite of myself, and always as an act of love!https://scontent-lhr8-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.29350-15/307418413_505968394696519_6949473916386874948_n.webp?stp=dst-jpg&_nc_cat=110&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=8ae9d6&_nc_ohc=P6UAAYO_EtsAX_cFlpL&_nc_ht=scontent-lhr8-1.cdninstagram.com&edm=ANo9K5cEAAAA&oh=00_AT_pG4bLYNYmXQ3t4jvKoOGj4Pr2L1RM3ci2Nqb7f_-dfQ&oe=63320F5C
