“What a well-oiled machine,” I found myself thinking, one Saturday morning. It was a rowing team churning up the waters of one of the canals flowing through Century City. The amount of effort, the timing, and cooperation were all so impressive. In His mighty high priestly prayer in John 17 Jesus pleads from His full heart for unity between every believer who has invested the treasure that is their lives into Him. Signed. Sealed. Safe. But not yet one.
Shall we not end His agony? Imagine such harmony between us all!
