Did you know that the prodigal son had many, many elder brothers? Well, they were out in numbers and I could recognize them by the way they looked at him.
Did their scorn phase him? Not as far as I could see. I found myself hoping God would use him that morning – to comfort hurt with the best news, and to pray, and even hug.
