This is written by the Divine Hand on the fields of the West Coast in South Africa and stuns us into silence. Wonderful things happen: when the little caterpillars hatch, greedy to sample the tender petals, gulls are seen in their hundreds greedy too, but this time to eat the caterpillars. And so a new display of white feathered birds stretches far and wide. Greater displays there may be but they are all from God. We stare and we bend the knee to Jesus, so amazing a creator is He.
