We know what it’s like to seek and search and long for the real thing. When the soccer world cup was in Cape Town I took a picture of this poster displayed in the foyer of a Waterfront hotel. What fascinates me now is a counterfeit object among those ostrich eggs.There are so many suggestions, philosophies, and theories out there. How deep is the hunger in our hearts as we search for the real thing. Some of us are so tired of the search … and then Jesus reaches out and whispers in our ear, “I am the way, the truth and the life” and – should we listen – the search is done.
