It’s a cold winter morning and we’re at the traffic department. This is because Roampie, one of the boys in the little school I ran for street children for a while wanted to be a traffic cop one day. I have got a kind cop to take us on a tour.
Roampie’s friend Virgil was with us and both boys had hot baked potatoes I’d given them – to warm their fingers (and eat later!) – in their pockets.
I also got a turn to sit on the bike.
Isn’t it a joy to reach into the lives of others and bring them joy? Isn’t that what Jesus did?
