Why should I be surprised, when visiting the Lake District and Bridge Inn Eskdale in particular, to find this in the Ladies Restroom? When all you see as you travel is sheep – we saw so many fluffy lambs – I guess you bring “sheep” into every aspect of your life, even into your decorating. So I’m not at all surprised by the decorater! And it’s exciting to find Jesus present so often in every aspect of my life – in my thinking, weeping – Shirley died nine years ago today – facing circumstances, and bubbling over with thankfulness. He comes, everywhere and often – like all those sheep – more and more of them – and His frequent visits – more and more of them over the years – is the greatest gift of all and brings me to my knees. And while the loss of my only child is the sorrow I will always have, I will also always have these kind visits – too precious to measure.
